XIII Century lenticular buckler

Description

A buckler is a small fist shield which became very popular for unarmored fencing in XIII Century. It is also the primary matter of the oldest surviving European martial arts treatise: the MS I.33, a.k.a. the "Tower of London" Fechtbuch.
In this source, as well as in many others, bucklers are clearly shown as lenticular rather than flat.
So here's my reconstruction of a lenticular buckler: I'm fairly proud of it! :D

Materials: wood, rawhide, raw linen, parchment, iron shield boss, forged iron nails, acrylic paint.
While inspired by historical sources, the painting is just speculative.
